Frequently Asked Questions
All of our bike tours (including Versailles) depart from our café at 17 Rue du Pont Louis Philippe, 75004 Paris, right in the heart of the Marais.
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your tour starts so we can get you checked in and comfortably set up on your bike. That said, you're very welcome to come earlier — we open every day from 8:00am, so you can relax in the café and grab a specialty coffee or a some food before your tour begins. A pretty perfect start to the day.
Closest metro stations: Hôtel de Ville (lines 1 & 11), Saint-Paul (line 1), and Pont Marie (line 7) — all less than a 5-minute walk.

Running late? It happens. Send us a message as soon as you can on +33 6 18 80 84 92, and we’ll do our best to guide you towards the group and help you catch up if possible.
That said, once the tour has set off, reconnecting can be a little tricky and is something we can’t promise — so arriving 15 minutes early is always the smoothest start to your experience.
As for leaving early, our public tours are designed to be enjoyed from beginning to end, as a shared experience with your guide and group. For that reason, we do ask that everyone stays for the full duration. If you’re looking for something more flexible, a private tour may be a better fit — we’d be happy to arrange that for you.

Our tours run rain or shine — and in Paris, a little rain often adds to the atmosphere more than it takes away.
To keep things comfortable, we provide ponchos free of charge, so you can stay dry and enjoy the ride just the same. And more often than not, the weather turns out better than expected once you're out there.

Our tours are designed to feel easy, relaxed, and enjoyable — you don’t need to be an experienced cyclist to join us.
What matters most is that you feel comfortable on a bike: starting, stopping, and using hand brakes with confidence. We ride at a gentle pace, mostly on bike lanes and quiet backstreets, with only occasional stretches alongside light city traffic. Your guide is always there to keep things smooth and safe.
Many of our guests haven’t been on a bike in years — and end up wondering why they ever stopped.
If you’re unsure, you’re very welcome to stop by the day before, or a little earlier on the day itself, to try the bikes and get comfortable before heading out.

Absolutely — our tours are a wonderful way for kids to experience Paris. Our guides are experienced in adapting the ride to different ages, keeping things safe, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone along the way.

We offer a range of options to make bringing little ones along easy and comfortable:
- Kids’ bikes (20” and 24”)
- Longtail bikes (with two seats on the back — perfect for kids who can sit independently)
- Child seats for babies and toddlers
We use our signature yellow city bikes — comfortable, easy to ride, and perfectly suited for exploring Paris at a relaxed pace. They come with wide, cushioned seats, smooth hand brakes, and baskets (ideal for a bag, camera, or a little market stop along the way).
Helmets are available in all sizes for anyone who would like one. For children aged 12 and under, helmets are required by French law; for adults, they’re entirely optional.

The main thing is to dress for the weather — think sunscreen, sunglasses, and a cap in summer, and a few layers in cooler months. Paris mornings can be fresh, but it often warms up nicely as the day goes on.
You’re very welcome to bring a small bag along for the ride — all of our bikes come with baskets, perfect for your essentials.
If you have larger luggage, just let us know in advance. We’re happy to store it for you during the tour — we simply ask that you arrive on time so we can get everything safely tucked away before we set off.
