Is Paris a good biking city?
The short answer is simply yes. Paris has become one of the most bike-friendly cities in the world — and the cycling network is still growing every year as the city works toward its long-term goal of becoming “100% cyclable.”
With more than 1,000 km of protected protected bike lanes, getting around by bike now feels safer and easier than ever — and cyclists make close to a million trips across Paris every single day.
Our tours ride on a mix of dedicated bike lanes and quiet streets, and our trained guides keep a close eye on the group from start to finish. If you’ve never experienced Paris by bike before, we’re confident you’ll love it.
Why Bike About Tours?
At Bike About, we do things a bit differently than the larger tour companies in Paris. We offer a real connection with the city & culture as we help travelers discover the charming back streets & local culture of the city on bikes.
We’ve spent 20 years developing the best bike tours in Paris, all starting at Le Peloton café- our hub for cycling, speciality coffee & community in the centre of Paris.
Whether you join us in Paris or Versailles, you’ll be sure to fall in love with France “à vélo”. You can also rent bikes from us and explore on your own.
